Fellow Membership – $125.00 annual dues:

Fellow members shall be Fellow members of the American Academy PAs whose dues are current, and whose application for SDAPA membership has been approved.

• access to the floor
• voting privileges on state and issues concerning AAPA
• may serve as an officer or director of SDAPA
• Membership cycle, renewal each January 1, expires December 31 of same calendar year. You will receive a reminder 45 days prior to renewal date.
  

Affiliate Membership – $125.00 annual dues:

Affiliate members shall be other Physician Assistants who are not Fellow members of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and whose application for SDAPA membership has been approved.

• access to the floor
• voting privileges on state issues,  but Not on issues concerning AAPA
• may serve as a director, but may not hold an office
• Membership cycle, renewal each January 1, expires December 31 of same calendar year. You will receive a reminder 45 days prior to renewal date.
  

Associate Membership – $75.00 annual dues:

Associate members shall be other individuals such as Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, and other health professionals interested in the SDAPA whose dues are current and application for SDAPA associate membership has been approved.

• may not vote or serve as an officer or director
• Membership cycle, renewal each January 1, expires December 31 of same calendar year. You will receive a reminder 45 days prior to renewal date.
  

New Graduate Membership – $75.00:

New Graduate members shall be A New Graduate of an accredited PA program, or an NCCPA-certified PA, is eligible for a discount on a Fellow membership during the first year after graduation. To take the Fellow membership, the new grad must be a Fellow member of the American Academy of PAs in good standing.

• New graduates must submit verification of graduation from ARC-PA program.
  

Retired Membership – $10.00 annual dues:

Retired members are Physician Assistants who were former Fellow members and have chosen to retire from the profession and opt to be classified as a retired member.

• entitled to privileges on the floor
• not entitled to vote or hold office.
• Membership cycle, renewal each January 1, expires December 31 of same calendar year. You will receive a reminder 45 days prior to renewal date.

Student Membership – $20.00 one-time fee:

Membership will last 30 months. Shall be students attending a PA educational program whose dues are current and application for SDAPA membership has been approved.

• access to the floor
• voting privileges on state issues, but not issues concerning AAPA
• may not hold office, but may serve as the SDAPA’s student director.
